Traditional Olivine Diabase Sauna Stones 5–10 cm (20 kg) are premium-quality natural sauna stones known for excellent heat retention, durability, and consistent steam production. Also known as split-faced sauna stones, their angular shape provides a larger surface area for efficient steam generation and the classic sauna experience with rich, satisfying löyly.

Made from high-density natural olivine diabase, these stones provide excellent heat storage, exceptional durability, and long service life in demanding sauna environments. The 5–10 cm size is suitable for a wide range of electric and wood-burning sauna heaters that specify this stone size.

Each 20 kg box contains carefully selected natural stones. Refer to your heater’s manual to determine the total amount of stone required.

Installation Tips

• Rinse the stones before placing them in the heater to remove dust.
• Place the larger stones at the bottom and smaller stones toward the top while maintaining good airflow between the stones.
• Avoid packing the stones too tightly, as proper airflow is essential for efficient heater performance.
• Inspect the stones regularly and replace any cracked or worn stones to maintain optimal heater performance and help extend the life of the heating elements.
