The 5×5×7 indoor cedar sauna kit features a smart L-shaped bench layout that comfortably fits up to three people, making it one of the most efficient small-footprint sauna designs available.

With equal 5-ft depth and width, this model features an L-shaped bench layout that fits up to three people. The full upper bench with lower bench can run along either the back wall or the side wall, and the L configuration can be flipped left or right depending on heater placement and door swing. This gives you flexibility during planning and installation.

Built from Canadian Western Red Cedar, this sauna kit offers excellent heat resistance, long-term durability, and a naturally comfortable surface. Cedar is available in clear or knotty grades, depending on your design preference and budget. Standard 7-ft height, with an optional 8-ft upgrade.

This is a liner kit designed to be installed inside a properly framed, insulated, and wired structure. It is suitable for indoor installations and can also be used inside outdoor structures such as sheds, garages, or cabins.

Plank Orientation (Walls + Ceiling)
All of our sauna kits come standard with horizontal wall planks.

Ceiling boards: The ceiling board direction is determined by the shorter interior dimension of the sauna (Depth vs. Width). The ceiling boards always run across the shortest span of the room to ensure proper support and a clean installation.

Examples:

  • 10′ × 8′ sauna (D × W): shortest span is 8′, so ceiling boards run across the 8′ span (width-wise).
  • 7′ × 9′ sauna (D × W): shortest span is 7′, so ceiling boards run across the 7′ span (depth-wise).

Please confirm the ceiling-board direction for your sauna and install your ceiling joists accordingly before installation. Proper joist orientation is required to support the supplied ceiling boards correctly.

If you prefer a different orientation (e.g., vertical wall planks or a different ceiling-board direction), please specify this in your order notes when placing your order (subject to price change).

If no preference is noted, the default orientation will be used.

Our price builder suggests heaters based on typical kW requirements and standard clearance guidelines. It is your responsibility to ensure the selected heater is suitable for your specific sauna layout. Clearances may vary depending on heater placement (e.g., front wall vs. depth side) and wall materials (e.g., glass vs. wood). Sample images may not reflect actual clearance conditions. Always refer to the heater manual and use heat shields or non-combustible materials where required.

    The local and Wi-Fi sauna controls are essentially the same in terms of hardware and functionality. The key difference is that the Wi-Fi version includes an ID for connecting to the HUUM mobile app (Apple or Google Play). This feature allows you to remotely activate your sauna, enabling you to heat it up in advance, whether you're on your way home or just finishing a workout. It's designed to enhance convenience, ensuring your sauna is ready when you are.
